When Life Gives You Lemons

Hello My Crafty Friends!  WELCOME to my first MarkerPOP! Design Team post!  I am so excited to have been chosen to be a part of this awesome team.  Val, the DT coordinator is just AMAZING, Ashley, the owner of the MarkerPOP! store is just so generous (and you'll see some of that in a minute) and my Design Teammates are so talented and supportive.  Be sure to read all the way through for your chance to win some lovely prizes.  So, without further ado...

I have for your inspiration, this adorable Lemon Tilda from the Magnolia 2014 Pink Lemonade Collection.  Isn't she just the cutest?  I've colored her up with my Copic Markers.  Then I went a little crazy with the die cutting. I accented pretty much everything with Distress Inks.  Don't you just LOVE that sentiment?

Here is a side view to see the dimension.

Copic Markers Used - Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13, R20  Hair & Basket: E29, E30, E31, E34, E35, E37  Dress & Shoes: B32, B34, B39, E53, E55  Apron & Kerchief: T0, T2  Lemons: Y11, Y13, Y15, E84, E87  Leaves & Grass: G0000, YG03, YG67, G82

A well deserved Congrats, Laura! Good for you! I so love your card. I never thought of creating a lemon tree! My husband's grandmother had a lemon tree in her yard that was huge and always rich with lemons - so many that they had to build braces to hold up the branches!

Thanks for the chance to be in the draw!

XO,
Chris Christensen
