Mike & Michelle

Hello Dear Friends!

I am here today with my second installment for the Tilda's Town challenges and our challenge this week is a super fun one, Dies and/or Punches.

I have made this card especially for some dear friends who love the beach.
This is Tilda in Key Largo and Edwin in Miami from the Magnolia 2012 Summer Memories collection.
For my dies, I have used some of my brand new Magnolia Doohickeys that I ordered from last week's sale at Tilda's Town.  I used the leaf from the Leaf & Swirl set, the cloud from the Cloud & Flag set, and Tilda Tag (inside the card).  These are the first Doohickeys I've ever had and I have to say that I absolutely adore them!
Copics:  Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R12, R20  Hair - E50, E53, E55, E57, C3, C5, C7, C9  Dress - R20, R22, R24  Shirt - Y17, Y21  Shorts - YG95, YG97  Shoes - N0, N2, N4, C7  Shellfish - R1, R8, R12, Y21, Y17, E34, E39  Water - B34, B39
The tag slips into a little pocket that I put on the inside cover.
I made the fence from popsicle sticks and wire.  I used a metal punch for the initials and a tiny heart stamp.

Tilda's Town Challenge #107, FF or CL

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!
Today is my first posting as a member of the Tilda’s Town Design Team!

I received an email, out of the blue, asking if I would be interested.  Are you kidding?  Heck Yes!  Absolutely!  Is this planet round?  (Can you tell I’m over the moon about this)?  This is a group of EXTREMELY talented ladies and I must say that after the initial shock wore off, I started thinking that maybe they were looking for a different Laura.  I mean, me, seriously?  I expected someone to say, “Opps!  My bad, you’re the wrong one”.  So if this is a dream, don’t you dare pinch me!  LOL!
The challenge this week is Fussy and Fancy or Clean and Layered.  My first official Tilda’s Town Design Team make is Fussy and Fancy, using Strawberry Yummy Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow Collection.  I just love, love, love this sweet stamp!
A different background gives the same card a different look, doesn't it?  I'm trying to decide if I should stick to my old barn wood backdrop or switch to a white one.  I like them both...
Copics:  Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20  Hair - E50, E51, YR21, YR24  Clothes - YG97, YG93, YG11  Strawberries - R1, R20, R22, R24, R29, G28, G24, YG11  Basket - E21, E23, E25, E27, E29

Strawberry Yummy Tilda and both the Happy and Birthday dies are available at

Graffiti Graduation 2014

Hello Dear Friends and Fellow Crafters!  I hope you are having a terrific week so far.

Today I have a card(s) that I made for two college graduates in the family, my son-in-law Billy and my nephew Colin.  I used a digital image by Mo Manning Designs called Glad Grad Boy.
The cardstock is by Bazzill and the cool looking brick background paper is a freebie you can get from Bearly Mine Designs.  I die cut the words and numbers from a Sizzix alphabet called......yep......you guessed it, Graffiti and that little corner was cut with a QuicKutz die.  I kept it pretty basic since guys don't usually like all the fru fru (as the hubster calls it).  LOL!
I found this very appropriate sentiment stamp amongst my older goodies and I'll be darned if I can figure out who it's by.  It's part of a graduation set.
Copic markers used:
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R12  Hair - E70, E74, E79  Cap & Gown - C1, C3, C5, C7, C9  Shirt & Shoes - R22, R24, R29, C5  Pants - B21, B34, B99

I really do appreciate you stopping by to take a look and your comments really make my day!  Have a great rest of the week!
